Caloocan City, Metro Manila – The Memorandum of Partnership (MOP) was formally signed between Radio Mindanao Network Foundation, Inc. (RMNF) and Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium (DJNRMHS) on March 20, 2025.
Mr. Patrick Aurelio, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Officer of RMNF; Mr. Enrique Maximo Mariano O. Canoy, Vice President for Operations of RMNF and Vice President for Integrated Marketing Communications and New Media of RMN Networks; Dr. Alfonso Victorino Famaran Jr., Hospital Director of DJNRMHS; and Dr. Maryl Albano, Chief of Medical & Professional Staff of DJNRMHS attended the signing ceremony.
In his presentation, Mr. Aurelio outlined the RMN Foundation’s projects with DJNRMHS in 2023 and 2024, and how they helped the communities. He also presented plans for 2025 that aim to continue to expand health programs and support those in need. This includes the “RMN Network Dugtong-Buhay Blood Donation Project,” which will promote initiatives for patients and the community.
Another important project is the support of RMNF for DJNRMHS’s Green Space Project for Persons with Disabilities (PWD), as well as families and patients of the hospital. This project will be implemented through the League of Corporate Foundations – Arts and Culture Committee. In addition, the RMNF also plans to expand collaborations in health, medical, environment, and livelihood projects for the PWD community from the Livelihood, Education, and Rehabilitation Center (LERC) of the Bigay-Buhay Multipurpose Cooperative and neighboring areas.
“We at RMN and RMN Foundation are honored that DJNRMHS will be one of our advocating partners and be able to promote programs from Metro Manila, Luzon, and if possible, to Visayas and Mindanao areas especially where our RMN radio stations are located nationwide,” said Aurelio.
Aurelio also highlighted the importance of the partnership as a step towards expanding programs that will make a difference in the lives of people, not only in Metro Manila but also throughout the country.
Mr. Enrique Canoy, meanwhile, expressed gratitude for the partnership between the two parties to further expand health, wellness, and nutrition programs.
“We are truly grateful to Dr. Jose N. Reyes Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium for this partnership, -to further expand the initiatives between DJNRMHS and RMN Foundation, especially in the areas of health, wellness, nutrition and livelihood assistance,” said Canoy.
Meanwhile, Dr. Famaran Jr. emphasized the importance of the partnership between RMN Foundation and DJNRMHS.
“This partnership is not merely a merging of resources; it is a fusion of values, a collaboration of expertise, and a shared vision for a healthier tomorrow.” This Memorandum of Partnership serves as a stepping stone towards more initiatives and projects that will improve the health and livelihood of Filipinos,” said Famaran.
Also, present at the signing ceremony were Mr. Vlen Willis Virtucio, CSR Assistant; Mr. James Von Nicolas, Digital Media Assistant, Ms. Erlina Miranda, Accounting Officer from RMN Foundation and Mr. Samuel Sumilang, Chief of Nurse; Ms. Lolit Albit; Ms. Rochelle Carmen, Head of Medical Technology; Mr. Maverick Flores from DJNRMHS.
